Who We Are

My name is Carmela Lazarus. My husband’s name is Chuck. We live and own two business in Jackson, Michigan. We have two beautiful children, two dogs, six chickens, two geckos, one tortoise and one cat. God has given us so much to be thankful for!

Several years ago, when on a mission to help heal my autistic son with natural medicine instead of prescription medication, God led us on a journey for truth – truth about the toxins in our food, in our environment, and in our homes. I craved truth, no matter what changes it meant for our lives. It was this journey for truth that eventually sparked our journey for spiritual truth. Today, we eat organic foods, eat Biblically clean and take only natural supplements. We have removed harmful toxins from our home and from our bodies.

As a family, we actively study the Bible every day, seeking wisdom and understanding from our Heavenly Father. We live our lives according to the Word of God and test every “truth” against His Word. As a result of our passion for the Word and our Messiah, we keep His Commandments the best we are able. We no longer hold to the traditions of men by celebrating Christmas and Easter, but keep God’s Holy days instead. Spending time with the Father on His Holy days, the way He laid out in His Word, gives us great joy and peace. God has, in return, blessed us in many ways for our obedience – as He promised in Deuteronomy 28!

We are on a journey to come out of Babylon, as God calls all His people to do. To live in the world, but not of it. Please join us on our journey. We hope that we can inspire you and others to love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, mind and strength.
