Love and Torah

The videos in this section explain the verse spoken by Yeshua, “If you love me, keep my commandments.” John 14:15

What does love have to do with keeping the commandments, and keeping the commandments have to do with love? What commandments was Yeshua talking about? How do we love God? How do we love our neighbor? Who is our neighbor? Is love just a feeling or does love produce action?

Watch this video series to see what the Bible says about love and how obeying the commandments demonstrates our love for Him and our neighbor.

“You shall therefore love the LORD your God and keep his charge, his statutes, his rules, and his commandments always.” Deuteronomy 11:1

“Whoever has my commandments and keeps them, he it is who loves me. And he who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him and manifest myself to him.” John 14:21

“By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and obey his commandments. For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments. And his commandments are not burdensome.” I John 5:2-3

“And this is love, that we walk according to his commandments; this is the commandment, just as you have heard from the beginning, so that you should walk in it.” 2 John 1:6
