How many times have you read the accounts detailed in scripture and said to yourself, “What were they thinking?” Even though hindsight is 20/20 and the examples can be seen in Scripture, you could still be guilty of doing the same nonsense that they did. All day long, as you make choices and decisions, you should continually ask yourself, “What am I thinking?”
God wants ALL of us – all of our heart, soul and might. (You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might. Deuteronomy 6:5) To give God ALL that we are, our thinking has to align with His. Does it? Do we have the mind of Yeshua? Have we let His mind be in us? (Philippians 2:4-8)
In this video series, Rabbi Steve Berkson really digs into how our thinking is the problem within our walk and how it leads to actions that may not align with how God wants us to live.

“And now, Israel, what does the Lord your God require of you, but to fear the Lord your God, to walk in all his ways, to love him, to serve the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul, and to keep the commandments and statutes of the Lord, which I am commanding you today for your good? Deuteronomy 10:12-13
For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit set their minds on the things of the Spirit. For to set the mind on the flesh is death, but to set the mind on the Spirit is life and peace. Romans 8:5-6
